Black Swan hedge fund - Fed rate cuts will signal market crash!

Black Swan Event - an UNPREDICTABLE or UNFORSEEN event, especially one with extreme consequences.

Are rate CUTS or RAISES better for the economy and the stock market? Looks like there are as many opinions as there are talking heads on Wall Street. Everyone has an opinion, but every opinion has a caveat of “past performance does not guarantee future results.”. So the two questions have to be: 1) is this information worth anything? 2) what do I do with this information?

First of all, it was the great Peter Lynch who said “Far more money has been lost by Investors PREPARING for corrections, or tying to ANTICIPATE corrections, than has been lost in CORRECTIONS themselves”. Ironically, this “call” is surely not a Black Swan event - as he’s anticipating it!

(As an aside, I believe that the ULTIMATE BLACK SWAN EVENT = NO MORE BLACK SWAN EVENTS. Imagine all the time and effort and wasted opportunity preparing for a boogey man that never appears.)
